Is there scientific proof to back up the claims? If so, I would like a direct link for a reliable source preferably a goverment scientific source would be most helpful. The site must state explicitly and directly that it helps you lose fat. The following only applies if those berries are true miracle workers to help you lose weight, otherwise the following doesn't apply: Can I buy acai berry in raw berries just like blue berries at Kroger or Walmart? Also, are they sweet or do they have bitter taste? I might just put them in my cereal. Yes, I understand a lot of news sites are also promoting them. Although, I have yet to see scientic proof. I want scientific proof especially from reliable sources. Otherwise those claims are worthless. News sites are hardly scientific proof.

There are no quick answers for weight loss and toning. if there were we wouldn't be a nation of fat a$$es. its a scam. do not believe otherwise.

There are no 'magic' foods that will help you to lose weight (or to gain it). People who are constantly active can 'get away with' eating all sorts of rubbish, because what you DO has a greater effect on your physique than anything you eat can have. However, unsupported claims aren't 'worthless'; they help to sell an unbelievable amount of merchandise every year. The uncomfortable truth is that enough people will respond to implausibly extreme claims to make them worthwhile. Moderate, scientifically backed claims are less impressive, and therefore sell less product. Including some (ordinary) berries in your diet will act as a good motivator, by reminding you of your training goals, every time you visit the supermarket or eat cereal. They also contain some useful vitamuins and minerals.
