For diabetic diets, will "no sugar added" ice cream cause a spike in glucose?
I had this type of ice cream around 9 pm and at 11pm my g meter read 106 and tested sugar at 9am only to see my g meter go to 129. Wondering if I have to ditch this stuff.

Are glycemic index diet and diabetic diet the same?
I was wondering since the glycemic index diet controls the sugar in your body, would diabetic cooking be the same? The reason why I ask, is because it is not as easy to get g.i diet cookbooks, but diabetic cookbooks are really easy to get and I also have a few diabetic cookbooks already and wanted to know if they are the same, because I was thinking that they are similar diets.

Juice in diabetic diet?
I'm type 1 and use a pump, so I'm really good at carb counting. I'm tryinp key word, trying to quit drinking pop. As a result I'm drinking more juice. I make sure to buy 100 %, no sugar added juice.My problem is, the sugar in juice is so simple that I burn through it before the insulin can touch it. Of course, if I don't take any I get really high. I've tried playing w different insulin doses. I'm always high or low.Please don't suggest plain water, I hate that And I can only drink so much Crystal Lite

Help? dizziness from type 2 diabetic diet?
Hey I keep getting dizzy spells since a few weeks ago.... and so i went to the doctors and they sent me to get lots of blood tests.. turns out i have pre type 2 diabetes.. and they put me on a special diet to lose weight so i can get rid of the diabetes... they told me to eat low GI foods and low carbs and hardly any sugar... so i do that... NOW.. sticking to the diet... my dizziness is getting worse and it's almost constant... is this just my body adjusting to the change in diet? or something else?? plz help
