I help take care of my grandparents and when I'm over i bring my own lunch. They are on a diabetic diet that allows them no salt no sugar and a set diet. I don't like having food that might make them want to break their diets so i was wondering if it would be ok for me to join their diet even though I'm not a diabetic.

I had this type of ice cream around 9 pm and at 11pm my g meter read 106 and tested sugar at 9am only to see my g meter go to 129. Wondering if I have to ditch this stuff.

Help? dizziness from type 2 diabetic diet?
Hey I keep getting dizzy spells since a few weeks ago.... and so i went to the doctors and they sent me to get lots of blood tests.. turns out i have pre type 2 diabetes.. and they put me on a special diet to lose weight so i can get rid of the diabetes... they told me to eat low GI foods and low carbs and hardly any sugar... so i do that... NOW.. sticking to the diet... my dizziness is getting worse and it's almost constant... is this just my body adjusting to the change in diet? or something else?? plz help

I had gestational diabetes but it went away after my son was born. That was fifteen years ago. Now I am 36, about 20 lbs overweight, and think I may be pre diabetic now.
